Vince Carlos Gaitani
CEO & President
Vince Carlos Gaitani (Guy-Tan-E) is President and CEO of Tri Star Engineering Inc. Carlos is a Navy veteran with more than 25 years providing technical expertise to the Department of Defense and other government agencies. Carlos possesses an extensive background in leading business operations, capture/proposal development, management of deployed teams, operations, business development, and strategic planning. Carlos led a small businesses growth campaign working as a senior advisor on new business formation, operations and business development. Carlos was the owner/founder of G Force, Inc a defense services company that went on to complete the successful acquisition of Tri Star Engineering, an organically grown Indiana based defense contracting services company. Soon after the acquisition Carlos merged G Force into Tri Star combining and solidifying Tri Star’s capabilities in the Defense and Aerospace market.
Carlos served in the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1996 where he was an Electronic Warfare Specialist and took part in Operation Desert Shield and Storm in 1990/1991. Mr. Gaitani also served as an Operational Test Director for Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force. Carlos has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Institute of Technology. Carlos served as a reserve Deputy Marshal and is a member of the Association of Old Crows (AOC), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
Chief Operating Officer
Jon Cassady is the Chief Operating Officer of Tri Star Engineering, Inc. As the Chief Operating Officer of Tri Star, Jon brings over fifteen years of progressive experience in leading Defense/Federal consulting companies. Jon oversees Tri Star’s Operations and Administrative Infrastructure.
Previously, Jon served as Chief Administrative Officer of NikSoft Systems Corp. an award winning small business in Reston, VA. As NikSoft ‘s CAO, Jon assumed leadership for the day-to-day affairs of the company. Prior to joining NikSoft, Jon began his career in private legal practice before performing similar contracting functions for large consulting firms.
Jon holds a Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School (with honors) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
Christina M. Agresti
Chief Marketing Officer
Christina M. Agresti is Chief Marketing Officer of Tri Star Engineering Inc. Chris, a 25-year Defense industry veteran directs all marketing and business development strategies. Oversees Tri Star’s brand loyalty program, marketing activities, business development, advertising and public relations and organizational development. Chris leads Defense/Federal business development by driving strategic relationships. Chris also manages the development of revenue opportunities, capture efforts and proposal management. Chris has a diverse background spanning Business Development, Branding, Organizational Development, and Marketing and Public Relations. Previously, Chris served as Vice President of NikSoft Systems Corp. an award winning small business in Reston, VA. Before joining Tri Star Engineering Inc,, Chris held executive-level positions as Chief Marketing Officer at Be Branded Corporation, Vice President Business Development for Tri Star Engineering Inc,, Vice President of Marketing at McKean Defense Group, Director of Corporate Business and Development for Sabre Systems Inc.
Chris holds two Bachelor’s Degrees; Liberty University in Marketing and George Mason University in Psychology. Chris earned a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology from Liberty University. Chris holds Executive Leadership Degrees from Wharton School of Business and Cornell University. PMP certified. Chris is a Certified Executive Coach (IAC), member of International Association of Coaches, National Speaker’s Association, Association of the United Army (AUSA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Federal Employed Woman’s Association, Women’s Chief Marketing Association and National Press Club.
Melvin F. Reed
Chief Financial Officer
Melvin F. Reed is Chief Financial Officer of Tri Star Engineering Inc. Melvin has over 25 years’ experience as an accomplished financial professional with deep expertise in government cost accounting, business start-ups, financial analysis and budgets, and facility credits. Melvin has been with Tri Star since 2011. Melvin takes a hands-on approach as an organizational leader bringing a successful history of strengthening financial reporting systems, supporting the implementation of business objectives to drive revenue and profit growth. Before joining Tri Star in 2011 Melvin’s professional portfolio ranges from managing companies upwards of $360M and successfully obtained facility credits up to $75M to finance: Change-of-Control/Ownership; Acquisitions/Mergers; Convert from C–Corp to S–Corp; ESOP. Melvin has an extensive experience maintaining historical profitability; Service Contract Act (SCA) contracts and associated Fringe requirements; significant experience working with DCAA and DCMA to establish Disclosure Statement; and new Indirect Rates for contract awards.
Melvin has a Bachelor of Science Degree, Accounting, from San Francisco State University and a Master of Science, Finance from College Park University of Maryland.
