Tri Star Awarded Navy Human Resources Prime Contract 2017

May 25, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, Bedford, IN was awarded the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Task Order to support a range of professional services to include the areas of Labor and Employee Relations, Staffing and Classification, Workforce Development, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Human Resources Policy Planning and Analysis. This Task Order (TO) supports projects and programs pertinent to the Human Resources Division for Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is a world class Naval Installation providing technical solutions to the Department of Defense. The secured installation is in southwest Indiana and covers approximately 100 square miles. Approximately 3,200 Government personnel are employed covered under three pay systems; General Schedule (GS), Federal Wage Grade System (FWS), and NAVSEA Demonstration Project (DEMO). Approximately seventy-five percent (75%) of the workforce are scientists, engineers, and technicians.

NSWC Crane provides comprehensive leadership and support for complex military systems spanning development, deployment and sustainment in three mission areas: Electronic Warfare/Information Operations, Strategic Missions, and Special Missions. NSWC Crane leverages its unique technical capabilities and those of industry partners to provide rapid response technical solutions to meet the mission of the warfighter.

The Human Resources Division is responsible for the overall development and execution of the Human Capital Strategy for NSWC Crane.

Work will be performed at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Base, Crane, IN. The task order was competed under Seaporte.

Tri Star Announces Chief Operating Officer

April 3, 2017, Bloomington, IN – Tri Star Engineering, Inc is pleased to announce that Jon Cassady has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer effective April 2017. “Jon is a dynamic leader with a wealth of experience in leading Defense/Federal service business and a key part of our dynamic growth strategy to hire top talent. As the Chief Operating Officer of Tri Star, Jon brings over fifteen years of progressive experience in leading Defense/Federal companies. Jon oversees Tri Star’s Operations and Administrative Infrastructure. Previously, Jon served as Chief Administrative Officer of NikSoft Systems Corp. an award winning small business in Reston, VA. As NikSoft ‘s CAO, Jon assumed leadership for the day-to-day affairs of the company. Prior to joining NikSoft, Jon began his career in private legal practice before performing similar contracting functions for large consulting firms.


Tri Star Opens New Office in Bloomington 2017

April 3, 2017, Bloomington, IN – Tri Star Engineering, Inc is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Bloomington, IN. The new office is in one Bloomington’s premiere locations with proximity to highways, Indiana University, Ivy Tech and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Base (NSWC Crane). This office is part of Tri Star’s new growth strategy “Driving Change” to expand the Information Technology Services portfolio. Tri Star Engineering Inc Awarded Navy Prime Contract 2017

January 9, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, Bedford, IN was awarded the Navy Software & Cyber Engineering for Expeditionary Systems contract for non-personal engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and product lines in the areas of command, control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C2ISR), and other special capabilities to include: Software Integration, Software Development, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance, Software Deployment, Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA), as well as Logistics, Configuration Management and Repair support services as they relate to software and cyber engineering. Tri Star will also support other technology areas: Secure Wireless Technologies, Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), IT Data Management, Data Mining, Configuration Management, Software Application Design and Development.

Chris leads Defense business development by driving strategic relationships. Chris has a diverse background spanning Business Development, Branding, Organizational Development, Marketing and Public Relations. Previously, Chris served as Vice President of NikSoft Systems Corp. an award winning small business in Reston, VA. Prior to joining Tri Star, Chris held executive-level positions as Chief Marketing Officer at Be Branded Corporation, Vice President Business Development for Tri Star Engineering Inc, Vice President of Marketing at McKean Defense Group, Director of Corporate Business Development for Sabre Systems Inc.



August 8, 2016, Arlington, VA – Tri Star Engineering a strategic partner with Millennium Corporation was awarded a $57M prime contract for COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT OF BUSINESS SYSTEMS FOR THE PMW 240 SEA WARRIOR PROGRAM. This 5-year contract provides services for Navy business and supports readiness challenges for Sailors, the Fleet, Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. “Tri Star is proud to be a part of Millennium’s world class team ” said Carlos Gaitani, Tri Star Engineering President and CEO. “We look forward to partnering with Millennium and the Program Office in expanding our services to the Sea Warrior”.

Board of Advisors Created

January 19, 2016 – Tri Star Engineering is proud to announce the creation of a board of advisors charged with supporting the strategic direction of company is key growth areas. We are honored to include Ambassador (Ret) Dell L. Dailey as our first board member.

Ambassador (Ret) Dell L. Dailey served as the Coordinator for Counterterrorism for The Department of State. He was charged with coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of U.S. Government policies and programs aimed at countering terrorism overseas. As the principal advisor to the Secretary of State (Rice and Clinton) on international counterterrorism matters, he was responsible for taking a leading role in developing coordinated strategies to defeat terrorists abroad and in securing the cooperation of international partners to that end.

Ambassador Dailey served over 36 years on active duty in the United States Army. He reached the rank of Lieutenant General as the Director of the Center for Special Operations (CSO), U.S. Special Operations Command, at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. His duties involved participation in all recent major military operations. He is a Master Army Aviator with over 2400 hours flight time, and 400 night vision goggle hours. Additionally he is a Master Parachutist of 120 jumps, with airborne wings from Canada, Germany and Jordan

During the latter phase of his military career and particularly in the CSO, Ambassador Dailey’s professional focus was not only on the military aspect of counterterrorism operations, but also on the need to deal with complex terrorist threats using all appropriate instruments of national power. Under his leadership, the CSO promoted interagency collaboration and built closer partnerships between military personnel and the members of other U.S. Government departments and agencies involved in global counterterrorism activities.

Ambassador Dailey was born into an Army family in Flandreau, South Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with focus in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1971. Subsequently he earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Shippensburg University in 1994. In 2008, Ambassador Dailey was recognized by his peers and the Association of Graduates as the youngest Distinguished Graduate from the United States Military Academy. In 2010, he was inducted into the US Army Aviation Hall of Fame.
