TRISTAR Awarded NAVAIR Sustainment Group (NSG) Product Support Management(PSMI) MAC
May 13, 2022 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a $600 million, 5-year Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery (MAC), IDIQ contract for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group (NSG) Product Support Management/Integration (PSMI) MAC “NSG PSMI MAC”. This Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group (NSG) PSMI MAC is designed to meet the requirement of NAWCAD for Integrated Product Support (IPS) program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of specified weapons systems, system of systems (SoS), subsystems, and Support Equipment (SE).
PSMI supports the NAVAIR acquisition and sustainment process for Naval Aviation weapons systems by providing trained logistics personnel for the execution of NAVAIRs Mission Aligned Organization Concept of Operations (CONOPS). The Sustainment Group provides the resources necessary to plan, manage, and integrate the design, development, acquisition, delivery, and sustainment of naval aviation weapons systems and products for PSMI, and other associated Program Offices. These products include the air vehicle, commodities and capabilities, propulsion system, training systems, SoS, SE and the product support packages to meet the Warfighters’ required availability at optimal life cycle costs (LCCs).
NAVAIR Program Offices, Echelon III /IV Commands, and NSG Departments are planned customers for the services provided under this contract. These services will support multiple logistics functional leads, including PSMI Department, Program Office Product Support Managers (PSMs), Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs), respective Integrated Product Team (IPT) Deputy APMLs, Logistics Element Managers (LEMs), and Fleet staffs Resident Independent Logistics Support Detachments
This contract requirement is a follow-on MAC for sustainment-focused management services, which will support customers across NAVAIR and all operations nationwide with the primary location for the performance of work under this contract will be in Patuxent, MD.

TRISTAR Awarded Human Resources Support Services Contract
April 13, 2022 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a 5-year contract under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Seaport NxG vehicle for Human Resources Support. Approximately sixty-five percent (65%) of the Navy civilian workforce are comprised of scientists, engineers, and technicians. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) provides comprehensive leadership and support for complex military systems spanning development, deployment, and sustainment in three mission areas: Electronic Warfare/Information Operations, Strategic Missions, and Special Missions. The Human Resources Division is responsible for the overall development and execution of the Human Capital Strategy for NSWC Crane.
This HR support contract directly supports the Human Resources Division. TRISTAR’s unique capability and experience in providing both technical and HR support services for the Navy over TRISTAR’s 27-year history results in innovative HR support services to ensure mission success.

TRISTAR Awarded FAA eFAST MOA
March 2, 2022 – TRISTAR (Tri Star Engineering Inc,) is pleased to announce we were awarded the Electronic Federal Aviation Administration Accelerated and Simplified Tasks Master Ordering Agreement (eFAST MOA). eFAST is a set-aside for small businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), such as TRISTAR.
This contract is available for use by the FAA by all federal government agencies. This MOA functions as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide a broad range of technical, professional and support services.
The combined total ceiling amount for all MOAs under eFAST for the entire 20-year period of performance (2010-2029) is $7.4 billion. Individual contracts or task orders have no ceiling limits. The scope of work includes (1) major systems support; (2) technical, engineering, and scientific expertise, advice, analysis, studies, or reports in areas such as IT, system engineering, risk analysis and management; cost estimating; human factors engineering; information security; testing and operational evaluation, logistics support analysis; technical writing; and expertise and analysis on the effectiveness, efficiency, or economy of technical operations of equipment, systems, services, or procedures; (3) Other professional services of an architectural or engineering nature, and incidental services; (4) Advisory and assistance services to support or improve agency policy development, decision-making, management, and administration, or to support or improve the operation of managerial or hardware systems; and (5) Professional, management, and administrative expertise, advice, analysis, studies, or reports.
This contract vehicle expands access to TRISTAR services in addition to existing vehicles such as TRISTAR’s GSA IT 70 Master Services and Navy Seaport Next Generation contracts.

TRISTAR Awarded Software & Cyber Engineering Support Contract
November 30, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a $85 million, 5-year task order award under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Seaport NxG. TRISTAR will lead a team of ten technology partners plus academic resources including Indiana University, Purdue University and Vincennes University for advanced training, education, research, and development.
This contract provides engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and in the areas of Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The work will include Software Integration, Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Deployment; Cybersecurity/Information Assurance; Logistics; Configuration Management; Quality Assurance; and Repair. These services are for a wide variety of systems supported by Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane), Expeditionary Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence and Cybersecurity Division (JXY).

The ISACA CMMI Institute confirmed the appraisal team’s findings that TRISTAR fully met all 150 best practices in the V2.0 model with no weaknesses identified and rated the organization CMMI V2.0 Maturity Level 3 (ML3). This is a 5-year, Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery (MAC), Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Additionally, the contract provides for broad-spectrum support across all technical and administrative disciplines of the command.
