TRISTAR Awarded Radar Systems Technologies Engineering Contract at NSWC Crane Division, IN

May 26, 2020 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bloomington, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year Seaport-e Contract from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for Life Cycle Logistics in support of Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD).  TRISTAR will provide design, development, engineering, technical, programmatic, and configuration support for efforts associated with Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave (MW) technologies, Radar Systems, and associated electronics supported at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Radar Technologies Division (Code WXP). This support encompasses engineering analysis and recommendations for the technical refurbishment and lifecycle support for Radar Systems, subsystems, and components.

Code WXP is involved in the sustainment, repair, refurbishment, and form/fit/function (FFF) replacement design of RADAR, RF, and MW systems including sub-systems, components, and supporting technologies used in both fielded mechanically scanned systems and modern active electronically scanned array(AESA) systems. Subsystems and technologies may include antennas, transmitters, receivers, signal data processors, sidelobe cancellers, power supplies, vacuum-electron devices, solid-state RF devices, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICS), photonic components, and power supplies among others. WXP is also involved with the advanced development of RF and MW technologies for military and commercial customers requiring leading-edge applications of technology and science.

TRISTAR Awarded Long Term Agreement to support Radar Restoration with Raytheon Technologies

November 1, 2019 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bloomington, IN was awarded a five-year Long Term Agreement from Raytheon Technologies, Intelligence & Space for Teardown, Evaluation, Overhaul, Reassembly and delivery of SPS-67(v)1, SPS-49 Reflector and Pedestal and SPS-48 Antenna and Pedestal in support of NSWC Crane.  TRISTAR will provide Teardown and Evaluation (T&E), standard overhaul and repair, and supplemental repairs as necessary to refurbish inducted radar systems and subsystems, including the AN/SPS-48, AN/SPS-49, AN/SPS-67(V)1, AN/SPS-67(V)3/5, AN/SPQ-9B, AN/SPS-40, AN/SPS-55, AN/SPS-73, AN/SPS-75 and AN/SPS-77 in support of United States Navy (USN), United States Coast Guard (USCG), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The antennas and subassemblies will undergo a teardown and evaluation, standard overhaul and repair, and potential supplemental repairs to return the antennas and subassemblies to a ready for issue (RFI) condition. The program will include disassembly and reassembly, acquisition and replacement of designated parts, paint/coating removal, painting/coating preparation and application, physical repair, quality assurance inspections, test support, subassembly repair, technical support, shipboard system removal and installation, and safe transport of antenna systems and components to/from Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane and the contractor and subcontractor facilities for the radar antenna systems in the Radar Restoration Program for the radar systems in support of United States Navy (USN) and United States Coast Guard (USCG).

Operation and sustainment for deployed radar antenna systems in the United States Navy (USN) Fleet is essential to mission readiness. The Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare System (PEO IWS 2.0), Washington, DC manages and executes the Radar Restoration Program through NSWC Crane, Radar Technologies Division.

January 25, 2019 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bloomington, IN was awarded a five-year Subcontract from Amentum to provide programmatic, data management and training support services for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division. TRISTAR Awarded Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Contract at NSWC Crane Division, IN

July 17, 2018 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bloomington, IN today, announced they won an unrestricted single award five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for Engineering, Technical and Programmatic Support Services for Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division (MEWSD).  The MEWSD encompasses full lifecycle Surface Electronic Warfare (SEW) systems support. This support is used to provide friendly forces the essential knowledge, expertise, and equipment to exploit the enemy’s defenses and to prevent the use of or decrease the effectiveness of enemy force efforts to use electronic detection and guidance devices against friendly forces.

TRISTAR will provide total lifecycle management and sustainment support for MEWSD and PM1 to include programmatic, engineering, logistic, technical, and research support services for SEW systems, subsystems, equipment, and components on USN, USCG, and FMS ship classes DDGs, CGs, CVNs, FFGs, LCS, LHAs, LHDs, LPDs, LSDs, WHECs, WMECs, and WMSLs. Services necessary to support the Department’s mission include: Specified installation planning, Change control, Configuration management, Configuration status accounting, Combat systems technical documentation, Computer program and server maintenance, Test event planning and execution, modernization planning and execution. The Air Dominance Department carries out engineering, technical, logistics, and leadership functions to conduct the ISEA mission. TRISTAR Wins First U.S. Army Technical Services Contract at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ

October 19, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year U.S. Army contract for technical support services for Project Manager Soldier Weapons.  Project Manager Soldier Weapons (PM SW) supports soldiers through the enhancement of current systems and development of next-generation weapons technology. The organization focuses on ensuring soldiers are equipped with world-class weapon systems and associated target acquisition/fire-control products.

TRISTAR will provide program acquisition recommendations, program coordination, and guidance to support the decision-making process for PM SW Product Directors. This is accomplished through research, analysis, and support of acquisition decisions.  These efforts will be provided in support of Research and Development (R&D), Production, Logistics, weapon systems, and remote weapon stations and platforms.
