TRISTAR Awarded Software & Cyber Engineering Support Contract

November 30, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a $85 million, 5-year task order award under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Seaport NxG. TRISTAR will lead a team of ten technology partners plus academic resources including Indiana University, Purdue University and Vincennes University for advanced training, education, research, and development.

This contract provides engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and in the areas of Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The work will include Software Integration, Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Deployment; Cybersecurity/Information Assurance; Logistics; Configuration Management; Quality Assurance; and Repair. These services are for a wide variety of systems supported by Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane), Expeditionary Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence and Cybersecurity Division (JXY). 

This contract will support all Navy international operations with the primary location being NSWC Crane (IN) and Quantico, VA, Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, Fayetteville, NC, Okinawa, Japan, Tampa, FL and San Diego, CA.

TRISTAR Achieves CMMI V2.0, Maturity Level 3

Appraisal reflects company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and customer needs

November 10, 2021 Bloomington, IN, TRISTAR (Tri Star Engineering, Inc.) SDVOSB and leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services company to the Department of Defense, proudly announces we have been appraised at CMMI V2.0 for Development, Maturity Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model.  

The ISACA CMMI Institute confirmed the appraisal team’s findings that TRISTAR fully met all 150 best practices in the V2.0 model with no weaknesses identified and rated the organization CMMI V2.0 Maturity Level 3 (ML3). TRISTAR Awarded Enterprise Personnel Systems Engineering (EPSE), NIWC Pacific

October 10, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a $75 million, 10-year Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery (MAC), IDIQ contract. The work will include systems engineering, software engineering, and life-cycle support for developing and sustaining business systems and enterprise information systems for Navy, DoD, Foreign Military Sales, and Federal agencies. This includes designing, developing, testing, implementing, sustaining, maintaining, and system hosting.

This contract will support Navy and DoD operations nationwide with the primary location for the performance of work under this contract will be in San Diego, CA.

TRISTAR Part of NIWC LANT Programmatic, Engineering, and Logistics Winning Team, TFS

September 23, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering, Inc. (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce that we were part of the Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC (TFS) team awarded a $125M, 8(a) set-aside “Incubator” contract to provide Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic (NIWC LANT) with command-wide Programmatic, Engineering, and Logistics support. This is a 5-year, Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery (MAC), Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Additionally, the contract provides for broad-spectrum support across all technical and administrative disciplines of the command. The contract also allows for non-competitive (Sole Source) awards up to a cumulative $4.5M per contractor, as well as unlimited competitive procurements.

The primary location for the performance of work under this contract is at Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic (NIWC LANT) in Charleston, SC.

This contract will provide engineering, technical, and management services for facility functions at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC-CR) and Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA). TRISTAR Part of USACE ACP Winning Team, CP2S

August 26, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were part of the CP2S team awarded a $38,000,000 design-build Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the 8(a) Access Control Point (ACP) Design-Build program. This United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) award is a 5-year, Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which covers the Continental United States (CONUS) including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories.

This program will provide design-build services for the provision of repair and renewal services for ACP projects that encompass the overall layout, organization, infrastructure, and facilities at entrance locations onto U.S. military installations. The ACP Design-Build program provides security improvements through the installation of new ACP equipment, infrastructure upgrades, equipment installation, and construction.

TRISTAR Awarded F3000 Bridge Contract

August 08, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were awarded a bridge contract for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and attendant product lines in the areas of Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Cybersecurity (Expeditionary C3I and Cybersecurity) within the Expeditionary Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane). February 9, 2021 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) is pleased to announce we were part of the CP2S team awarded a $49,000,000 design-build Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the Technical and Programmatic Support Services (TPSS) program. The MATOC is an unrestricted procurement with a small business reserve. This United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) award is a 3-year, multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which provides support to the Department of the Army, other DoD, and non-DoD agencies located inside and outside the United States including Germany, Italy, Japan, Kwajalein, Guam, Netherlands, and South Korea.

TPSS supports Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS), Cyber, and Engineering Divisions. This includes (1) providing quality oversight and management of cybersecurity projects, (2) developing criteria for how to implement cyber security across multiple agencies, (3) performing inventories of Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) including medical systems, and assisting multiple Department of Defense (DoD).
