December 22, 2016 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for Software and Cyber Engineering for Expeditionary Services. TRISTAR will provide engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and attendant product lines in the areas of command, control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C2ISR), and other special capabilities to include: Software Integration, Software Development, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance, Software Deployment, Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA), as well as Logistics, Configuration Management, and Repair support services as they relate to software and cyber engineering. These services are for a wide variety of systems supported by Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane), Maneuver and Engagement Division (JXS), and Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems Division (JXT).
Tasking under this contract will include Research and Development Support; Engineering, System Engineering and Process Engineering Support; Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support; System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support; Prototyping, Pre-Production, Model-Making, and Fabrication Support; Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Networking Support; Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) Support; Human Factors, Performance, and Usability Engineering Support; System Safety Engineering Support; Configuration Management (CM) Support; Quality Assurance (QA) Support; Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA) and Information Technology (IT) Support; Interoperability, Test, and Evaluation, Trials Support; Logistics Support; Training Support; In-Service Engineering, Fleet Introduction, Installation and Checkout Support; and Program Support.
The primary location for the performance of work under this contract is at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) a world-class Navy Installation providing technical solutions to the Department of Defense.
