TRISTAR Awarded Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Contract at NSWC Crane Division, IN

July 17, 2018 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bloomington, IN today, announced they won an unrestricted single award five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for Engineering, Technical and Programmatic Support Services for Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division (MEWSD).  The MEWSD encompasses full lifecycle Surface Electronic Warfare (SEW) systems support. This support is used to provide friendly forces the essential knowledge, expertise, and equipment to exploit the enemy’s defenses and to prevent the use of or decrease the effectiveness of enemy force efforts to use electronic detection and guidance devices against friendly forces.

TRISTAR will provide total lifecycle management and sustainment support for MEWSD and PM1 to include programmatic, engineering, logistic, technical, and research support services for SEW systems, subsystems, equipment, and components on USN, USCG, and FMS ship classes DDGs, CGs, CVNs, FFGs, LCS, LHAs, LHDs, LPDs, LSDs, WHECs, WMECs, and WMSLs. Specific duties include Operations, Systems Engineering, Sustainment Engineering, Software Engineering, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Logistics, Sustainment Logistics, Installation, Fleet Support, and Program Management Support in the execution of their overall mission and workload.

The primary location for the performance of work under this contract is at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) a world-class Navy Installation providing technical solutions to the Department of Defense.

TRISTAR Awarded Subcontract for Engineering and Logistics Support Services for Air Dominance at NSWCPHD, Port Hueneme, CA

June 25, 2018 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year Subcontract from Engineering Services Network (ESN) for Engineering and Logistics Support Services for Air Dominance Department of the NSWCPHD, Port Hueneme, California. Services necessary to support the Department’s mission include: Specified installation planning, Change control, Configuration management, Configuration status accounting, Combat systems technical documentation, Computer program and server maintenance, Test event planning and execution, modernization planning and execution. The Air Dominance Department carries out engineering, technical, logistics, and leadership functions to conduct the ISEA mission. The customer organizations served by the Department include the ships of the US Department of the Navy, the navies of allied nations purchasing ISEA services, and industry partners.

The support services provided under this contract are required at shore sites, land-based test facilities, shipyards, and aboard ships in ports and at sea for the U.S., Allied Nations, and FMS customers.

TRISTAR Wins First U.S. Army Technical Services Contract at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ

October 19, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year U.S. Army contract for technical support services for Project Manager Soldier Weapons.  Project Manager Soldier Weapons (PM SW) supports soldiers through the enhancement of current systems and development of next-generation weapons technology. The organization focuses on ensuring soldiers are equipped with world-class weapon systems and associated target acquisition/fire-control products.

TRISTAR will provide program acquisition recommendations, program coordination, and guidance to support the decision-making process for PM SW Product Directors. This is accomplished through research, analysis, and support of acquisition decisions.  These efforts will be provided in support of Research and Development (R&D), Production, Logistics, weapon systems, and remote weapon stations and platforms.

PM SW products are crucial to the success of the American soldier on the battlefield. PM SW’s mission is to develop, acquire, field, and sustain dominant soldier weapon systems to provide Warfighter overmatch.

The primary location for the performance of work under this contract at the Department of the Army Materiel Command Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey.

Rear Admiral Mark R. Whitney Visits TRISTAR

July 19, 2017 – Rear Admiral Mark R. Whitney, Director, Fleet Maintenance (N43 Maintenance) U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia came to Bedford, IN to visit the TRISTAR Engineering, Inc (TRISTAR) corporate production facility. Whitney came to review the U.S. Navy’s topside antenna restoration and overhaul operations. Whitney was accompanied by dignitaries from the Rotating Radar Program Office (PEO-IWS/2R), Washington DC, including Howard James (PEO IWS 2R1E), Anthony Stacy (PEO-IWS/RF), and Scott Doherty (C51). Also in attendance were personnel from Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Indiana and Naval Surface Warfare Center PHD, Damneck Virginia (Rotating Radar in Service Engineering Agent).

RADM Whitney was given a guided tour by Mr. Carlos Gaitani, TRISTAR Chief Executive Officer, through the restoration facility highlighting the critical operations performed at TRISTAR in support of the U.S. Navy Warfighter. During a brief session immediately following the tour, RADM Whitney stated, “I thank TRISTAR for all your support and have a great appreciation of the critical efforts performed by TRISTAR as well as the noticeable commitment of TRISTAR employee-driven excellence.” Whitney continued to give high praise to the level of TRISTAR employee dedication and involvement in the development of the processes utilized in the performance of restoration and overhaul process which is invaluable service to the U.S. Fleet.

After RADM Whitney concluded his tour of TRISTAR facility he traveled to NSWC Crane to review additional Radar Restoration efforts underway.

May 25, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single a five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) to support professional services to include in the areas of Labor and Employee Relations, Staffing and Classification, Workforce Development, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Human Resources Policy Planning and Analysis. NSWC Crane provides comprehensive leadership and support for complex military systems spanning development, deployment, and sustainment in three mission areas: Electronic Warfare/Information Operations, Strategic Missions, and Special Missions. NSWC Crane leverages its unique technical capabilities and those of industry partners to provide rapid response technical solutions to meet the mission of the warfighter.

The Human Resources Division is responsible for the overall development and execution of the Human Capital Strategy for NSWC Crane.
