Andy Wood has been with TRISTAR since May of 2024. He started his career with TRISTAR as a Program Manager, then assumed the role of Recruiting Director in January of 2025. Andy has 28 years of leadership, recruiting, and management experience as a US Army Officer, Elected Official and corporate employee.  

During his career in the military, Andy held several leadership positions as a Human Resources Officer, Rifle Company Commander, Company Executive Officer, Rifle Platoon Leader, Recruiting Manager, Recruiter, Recruiting Operations Manager, College Recruiter, among other positions.

Andy received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Oakland City University.  He holds a Master’s degree in Executive Development from Liberty University, and an MBA (Logistics) and Master’s of Project Management from Colorado Technical University.  He is also an AIRS certified Recruiter.

Andy has also graduated from several US Army schools, including Primary, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officers courses, Infantry Officer Basic Course, Recruiting Course, Human Resource Management Course, Recruiting Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Officer Strength Manager Course, and Airborne Course.

Andy is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Order of Saint Maurice, and as been awarded the Master Recruiting Badge with Diamond among other awards.

Andy will be leading TRISTAR’s recruiting department and reporting to Mandalyn Moody, Director of Human Resources.
