April 3, 2017 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) proudly announces the opening of its new Corporate Headquarters (HQ) in Bloomington, IN. The new office is in one Bloomington’s premiere locations with proximity to highways, Indiana University, Ivy Tech and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Base (NSWC Crane). This office is part of TRISTAR’s new growth strategy “Driving Change” to expand the Information Technology Services portfolio.

TRISTAR occupies over 15,000 square feet of space and all new facilities, such as more 4 comfortable meeting rooms that can host up to 40 people and better parking facilities. Located in the former BLOOM building and contributes to the city’s goals for attracting small business and defense contracting.

TRISTAR Awarded Navy Electronic Warfare: Expeditionary Domain Task Order
March 2, 2017 – TRISTAR Engineering Inc,(TRISTAR) Bedford, IN as a team member of SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (SAIC) is pleased to be part of the team that has been awarded the Task Order (TO) for the Navy Electronic Warfare: Expeditionary Domain at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division.
The support services performed under this Task Order is Engineering, Technical, Logistics, and Programmatic services across the Department of Defense Acquisition Life-Cycle for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division (EEWSD) in support of the Spectrum Warfare Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane across the Department of Defense Acquisition Life-Cycle. Expeditionary Electronic Warfare encompasses Littoral, Riverine, Amphibious, Ground, and Low Altitude domains of Electronic Warfare (EW). The focus of this effort is on development, upgrade and support of EW systems and technologies encompassing electronic attack (EA), electronic protection (EP), electronic support (ES), and Cyber/EW activities in the areas of vectors or techniques for cyber payload delivery, offensive / defensive vulnerabilities assessment, and Cyber/EW test infrastructure development.
This is a five-year (5) Task Order with work will be performed at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Base, Crane, IN. The task order was competed under Seaport-e.

December 22, 2016 – Tri Star Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for Software and Cyber Engineering for Expeditionary Services. TRISTAR will provide engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and attendant product lines in the areas of command, control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C2ISR), and other special capabilities to include: Software Integration, Software Development, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance, Software Deployment, Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA), as well as Logistics, Configuration Management, and Repair support services as they relate to software and cyber engineering. TRISTAR Awarded Subcontract to provide Distance Support Services for the Sea Warrior Program Office (PMW 240) SPAWAR, San Diego, CA
November 11, 2016 – TRISTAR Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN was awarded a five-year subcontract from Valkyrie Enterprises, LLC, to provide Distance Support (DS) Contractor Support Services for Sea Warrior Program Office PMW 240. TRISTAR shall provide relevant experience, program management (PM), sustainment/maintenance services, alteration installation fleet support, software sustainment, and framework upgrades in support of the two primary DS projects: Navy 311 and Navy Information/Application Product Suite (NIAPS).
Distance Support (DS) is a Navy Enterprise effort that combines people (e.g., subject matter experts (SMEs)), processes (e.g., remote equipment monitoring, tele-medicine, interactive detailing, etc.), and technology (e.g., data compression and replication) into a collaborative infrastructure without regard to geographic location. DS, at a minimum, includes the functional areas of logistics; maintenance and modernization; Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education (MPT&E); and medical support. DS remotely projects reactive, proactive, and predictive support to sailors across these functional areas, to achieve the right readiness at the right time, at the right cost. Effective and reliable information transfer is a key prerequisite to enable DS capabilities and processes.
Distance Support (DS) is a major component of the Program Manager, Warfare (PMW) 240 portfolio, which is housed within the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS). DS allows sailors to manage their careers, collaborate with SMEs, and access and receive authoritative information in near real-time wherever they are operating. DS furnishes the tools and creates business rules necessary to provide improved capability to the Warfighter.
Work on this contract will be performed in Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) San Diego, CA (primary location), Mechanicsburg, PA, SPAWAR Norfolk, VA, NSWC Crane, Indiana, and various United States (U.S.) Navy bases and ports worldwide.

The Sea Warrior Program Office, Program Management Warfare (PMW) 240, under the Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) provides Information Technology (IT) support and technical solutions to Navy business and readiness problems for Sailors, the Fleet, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. PMW 240 is responsible for executing lifecycle management of IT programs, projects, and initiatives. In this role, PMW 240 is accountable for the efficient, proper planning, design, implementation (installation), and operation of IT systems, and is a key stakeholder for the development of requirements for future IT acquisition efforts. The mission of PMW 240 is to provide integrated IT products and services that deliver cost-effective capabilities for Navy career service and Fleet Readiness.

Mar 16, 2016 – TRISTAR Engineering Inc, (TRISTAR) Bedford, IN today announced it won an unrestricted single a five-year Seaport-e Task Order from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) for engineering, technical, and management support services in the areas of technical support services, scientific/engineering analysis and studies, technical data support, and data management support. This Task Order supports the Infrastructure Services Division of the Corporate Operations Department and Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA), and their supported tenants.
TRISTAR will provide through an NSWC Crane managed contract, a level of effort tasking that will include business and infrastructure requirements planning and program support. Tasking shall include support for design, data entry, IT support, documentation, inspection, and survey for future facility planning requirements. The support shall include the development of manufacturing and engineering facilities’ technical support services.
