U.S. Senator Todd Young visits TRISTAR Bedford, IN Facility
February 23, 2026 – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-IN) made a special visit to the TRISTAR Bedford, IN Facility on Friday afternoon. Senator Young wanted to learn more about TRISTAR’s mission, capabilities and gain insight into our pivotal role supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) and the U.S. Navy.
TRISTAR representatives Mr. Matt Thompson (MEW Program Manager) and Mr. Kevin Anderson (VP of Customer Engagement) escorted Senator Young through our Bedford facility and leading lively discussions throughout the tour.
Matt and Kevin briefed the Senator Young on TRISTAR’s MEW contract with NSWC Crane highlighting the significant cost savings and overall value the company delivers to the Government. The briefing included an overview of TRISTAR’s engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment support to key Navy programs, including SLQ‑32, SLQ‑59, MK‑234, MK‑53, and MK‑59.
Senator Young’s visit underscored the importance of industry government collaboration and provided an opportunity to showcase TRISTAR’s contributions to mission readiness and fleet capability.
